Service, strength, and the quiet courage of starting again.

I'm Victoria Cross. This is a small place on the internet where I write honestly about rebuilding after divorce, finding discipline through military service, and moving forward with faith and focus.

Chapter 1 · Personal

Starting over with courage.

A few years ago, I went through a divorce. It was not an easy chapter, but it taught me how to stand steady, protect my peace, and rebuild my life with patience.

That season changed me. It made me stronger, quieter, more focused, and more grateful for the person I am becoming. I learned that starting over is not a loud thing. Most days it's just choosing, again, to show up for your own life.

Chapter 2 · Military Service

Discipline I didn't know I needed.

Victoria CrossMay 20265 min read

I have worked in the military since 2017. Service has given me structure, discipline, teamwork, and a clear sense of purpose. The kind that doesn't need announcing. It just shows up quietly, on the days you'd rather stay in bed.

I am assigned to Homestead Air Reserve Base in Ocoee, Florida, and currently deployed to Harir Air Base. Every day is a reminder that commitment is built through small choices, repeated with honor.

Mission Mindset

Three things I keep returning to.

  • 1

    Discipline

Staying focused, grounded, and ready no matter what the day brings. The smallest habits, kept honestly.

  • 2

    Teamwork

Learning to trust, communicate, and move with purpose alongside others. The mission is rarely solo.

  • 3

    Resilience

Turning difficult chapters into strength, wisdom, and forward motion. Soft when needed, steady always.
